    Default Humminbird lake master card?

What is yalls opinion on the lake master card? I have the old navionics platinum card and need to replace it. Was thinking about the lake master but from what people have said am a little weary about the humminbird maps. Would appreciate any info.

Sold my 797 with a Navionics in it - usually showed me on shore going down the Muskegon Lake channel out to Lake Mi.
    I have a Lakemaster in my 998 and in my 899 - thinking about a 3rd for my 798 ....

Make sure the maps you want are on the list!

Lakemaster has more features for Humminbird if the areas you are looking at are HD mapped.......I think recent surveys were done for Kentucky and Barkley lakes.

Ky and Barkley are the only lakes I am really interested in. Overall do you like the lake master?

Would have gotten the new LakeMasters South card if they had gotten Grenada and Enid on it this past year, they are here mapping now and will have one in the spring when it comes out. Navionics SUX in our neck of the woods as far as backwaters, like they mapped the lake at 203 or so and summer pool is at 215!!

In northeast Ohio the Lakemaster maps are way more accurate than the Navionics. Cannot speak about other areas but in my neck of the woods its Lakemaster for accuracy.

I have the new Lakemaster Southeast version2 ...which now includes Barkley Lake...

I have found it more accurate than the Navionics in some areas of Kentucky and Barkley lake...

Other areas I find the Navionics more accurate...

I keep both....what's another $100 in this hobby...??

I use the midwest and LOTW lakemaster maps and have been very pleased. They are in my HB 899.

IMO there is no comparison between the Navionics and LakeMaster. The detail and options of the LakeMaster on my 898 make it a joy to use. My Navionics Premium has cost me enough crankbaits just in Blood River on KY Lake alone to pay for a new LakeMaster card.
