GPS/Sonar locations

I currently have a Garmin 541s located on my console. I'm getting ready to buy a Lowrance HDS 8. It would be easier to put the HDS 8 at the front but I'm not sure where I'd get the most benefit. Please give me your opinions. Thanks.

If it was me, I'd put the Structure Scan unit on the console. I do most of my SI/DI work while trolling even though I have one on the bow as well.
