I have 7..090.i don't run my chart speed that slow ,but will try it out to see what happens.
At which software version did you first notice this (white out)?it seems like there was another person that posted something similar to that a while back.

I usually don't run that slow either but a guy on that site AL owns posted ("899 help") a problem, it was windy & I was using the i-Pilot so I slowed it down - just noticed it on the last update - I loaded 7.08 from 6.74 and right after I gave about 8 qts. of blood to the skeeters performing the update, I came back in and I had an email about 7.09!
Never actually ran 7.08 except SIM for a few minutes while I was donating blood....LOL:Rofl
I have a feeling it may be a combination of 200/83 and having the DI enhance set to low....
My buddy & I both have 899's and his didn't do it - and I set the chart to 2 on his - running 7.02 - same as my 899.
So basically I went from 6.74 to 7.09 and noticed it - same exact setting as displayed though - 12/10/low....
Running chart @ 1 or 3 & it goes away.
Mystic Pizza!
Thanks Kos!

Robert,
It happens when you run the Chart Speed at 2 AND the Sharpness menu at anything other than “Off”. So if you want to use the Sharpness you just have to set the Chart Speed on anything other than the 2 setting.
That DI anomoly first showed up somewhere around 6.5xx...
HB says they're working on it...

I had a 798HD that had the DI problem when the sharpness was anything other than off. Don't remember what software version, but I do remember it being 6.5X or later
Thank you for the explanation Greg, I will pass this on the folks on the other sites I frequent.
YOU DA MAN!!!! :ThumbsUp
I still havn't found a practical use for running chart speed slower than 3.
Even while using my onix with the 360/di mold I run a faster chart speed
kosmo...it would be interesting to see a shot of a basically square foundation at your normal Chart Speed to see how the perspective is actually being "painted" on your SI image...
Here's my personal example of a square foundation ...
I made this recording at a Chart Speed of 1 with my boat speed ~1mph...
