HDS 7 Question

I have an HDS 7 and thought about hooking it up to the front of my boat. Does anybody know if can connect to the universal sonar on a Terrova and what connector I would need? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, you can connect it to the universal sonar on your Terrova, or Powerdrive V2. You will need to purchase the Minn kota to lowrance conversion cable sold through cabela's, bass-pro, Lowrance, (several places). Just ensure that when you connect your HDS unit, you change the sonar transducer model. I believe you can bring up sonar on your screen, hit menu, tab over on sonar and find the option for sonar transducer type. I cannot exactly remember but, you can get away with generic 83hz/200hz.

Menu, sonar, installation, then select "generic 83/200". The cable is MKR-US2-10, give Brian at BBG marine a call.
