Hello, Just picked up my first fish finder a Humminbird 598 ci hd si combo and have a few questions about where to mount it etc... I've got a 16' jon boat with tiller so there's not much room to mount in the back of the boat. I'm probably gonna mount up front where I'll be fishing from. Would you mount the transducer to the transom or trolling motor? Also should I trade up to the HD transducer made for the trolling motor if I mount there? Is it possible to have 2 transducers(1 on the transom and 1 on the trolling motor) and 2 mounting positions(1 up front for fishing, 1 in the back for driving) and move the unit depending on where I need it most? All opinions are appreciated.
