The 859ci HD DI Combo comes with the XNT 9 DI T xducer

Here are the beams for the stock XNT 9 DI T...

This stock XNT 9 DI T xducer can be traded in to HB (unopened package)...for the XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T ...

This XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T is a TM style puck ...but it has the 83kHz 60ฐ/ 200kHz 20ฐ Dual Beam PLUS 2d...

A lot if guys find the wider 2d coverage of the XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T more beneficial than the narrower 2d beams in the stock XNT 9 DI T...

If you decide to upgrade to the XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T ...

Remember this is a TM style puck with a hose clamp type mount ...

If you're going to be mounting this puck on the transom...you will have to make some type of bracket to attach the puck to ...

It's the front xducer in this pic...(mine is not on the transom but you can see I had to build a "tang" on the front of da'ducer apparatusฎ to wrap the XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T hose clamp around) ...

Do I have to send my stock transducer in the box to the factory to trade for the "puck" style XTM 9 WIDE ? I will be putting it on my trolling motor.

I was not thinking, I was going to order the 859 from Basspro, but the price is the same from the Humminbird factory. So I will call them and have them send me the unit with the XMT 9 transducer. Thanks for all the info

Ordering from the HB website is the actual HB company...

The Humminbird Factory Outlet is not affiliated with the HB company...

While it never hurts to call and see if they ship a different xducer with a new unit...I'm pretty sure ordering from the HB company in Eufala...you would have to receive the unit with the stock xducer ...and then call HB to set up exchange for a different xducer...

The HB xducer exchange program allows a discounted price for a stock xducer that is still in the plastic (do not open the individual plastic bag of the stock xducer that comes in the box)...
