    Default 360 Transom Mounts

I saw a post somewhere of a pic showing a 360 transom mount that was removable. I did not write down the details. Can someone direct me in the right direction?

I think you are looking for the 740140-1 PORT 360 BKT.

Icookie,if your looking into buying a 360 and are not sure weather to use a transom mount or a trolling motor mount you really nead to consider what ways you would use it.a transom mount has and advantage from the bow mount if your wanting to fish vertically.

@ Greg - That was it thanks
@ Kosmo - Going with the transom 360. Thought that may be a good way to remove from the boat during the times I am not using it.

I have my 360 mounted on the transom with the 740140-1 PORT 360 BKT that Greg mentioned earlier. It works great and it allows you to tilt the 360 to get under bridges. I remove my Terova and 360 when not on the water because I park my boat outside when at home. I fish from the back of my boat so the transom unit is just what I need. I remove the eathernet cable, power cable and loosen the two hold down bolts and lift the unit off. It takes less than a minute to remove or install the 360.

You can go to the humminbird side and download the install directions for the 740140-1 and see what it actually looks like.

All of the pictures that I saw when I was looking for one had the picture of the bow mount bracket. The pictures are wrong. The part number 740140-1 is the correct part number.

    Good luck
    Phil
