LCG 2000, 3000, 4000 with NMEA2000 out will work.
Also, if you have a hand held GPS (or any other device) that outputs NMEA 0183, you can use the NMEA 0183 buss on the power cord (if you have the split power/data cord.

It's my understanding that the Point 1 will work with any NMEA 2000 compatable unit.
I got a 3000 and the cable with the adapter for a 27, pm me if interested.

I'd go ahead and spend the money on a point 1, that way if you update later you already have a good antenna/hearing sensor.
