Default Time to Replace TM Battery

Just wondering if I would get better service by getting a pair of 6v golf cart batteries and hooking them in series? Or would it be better to just replace present deep cycle?

CatFan can probably best answer this question. If you have the room I would opt for a 12 volt cart battery.

Generally, yes. The more pounds of battery you have, the longer it will run. If you have the space, they can be a good choice.

Downside is that you generally can't get warranty service on short notice for them.

Unless your pulling cranks all day in a real strong wind your problems are over. And they probably still won't run down.

I just put new batt on my Jon Boat. Went with WalMart #29 Everstart. Too big for the tray. I will have to nibble some plastic. Always something. I always have good luck with WalMart batteries. Keep the fluid levels safe and keep them charged and the last years.
