So I had a lowrance in dash flasher (factory installed) in my 89 astro and it quit spinning on me the other day. I run alot of sketchy water at speed so I really need something that's going to read accurately and instantly. I've heard all the digital units have a little lag time due to the averaging that goes on with the processor, and on barkley that could be the difference in being in the channel and being on a road bed. Best I can tell nobody even makes that style in dash unit anymore except for a company called vexilar and I know nothing about that company except for what little I've read on the net. What are you guys running in place of the ole flashers that kept us safe for so many years?

Yep, that Flasher View and RTS Window are hard to beat for fast updates. With the display colors available they can additionally give you sonar return strength information that the old single color flasher units could not do.
Go to BassBoatcentral. Can find those flashers there once in a while. Have seen a couple of brand new ones on there. Also check EBay.
