I love this forum. I get to set back while the snow is falling and find out how everyone buys and utilizes his equipment. I have a GPS on my sonar unit that is only used for trails and to get me home on strange lakes or in the fog. Others are into way points,trails, and backtracking. I use a foot feed trolling motor as I usually vertical jig, cast or shoot docks. I feel I can better handle my boat as the responce is quicker. That being said, those that troll, pull cranks or spider rig feel they are better served with auto pilots, power drives or wireless trolling motors. The point is "USE WHAT WORKS FOR YOU". Not what I use or need. I love to read how everyone utilizes their own equipment and I have gained a lot of information just reading and being a part of this forum....
