    Default New 1159/1199 what moounts?

What is everyone using for the larger graphs? Have been looking at reviews for several different ones. I am leaning towards the the Balzout mounts other than the price. But if it keeps these units safe I guess it is money well spent. I have used ram mounts in the past with good results but that was with 5" and 7" Lowrance units. I hope to get these installed next weekend but looks like it may be a few weeks before Truman lake thaws out so I can go spend some time on the water to try to figure these units out. Then the questions will be running wild from me I am sure. The move to Humminbird has came after 10-12 years running Lowrance units. So this is all going to be new to me

I use this one on a 998 and it is rock solid. There are lots of reviews on it with folks using 1198s an HDS10s. Congrats on your new Birds.

How about mounting to one of EZ's df perches on the front? I know the pitcher he shows has a ram mount on it but would you really need the ram mount??

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
