I have two HDs units on my boat and do not intend on replacing them but I am so intrigued by the "Follow the Contour". I have a Terrova with US as well Ipilot and was wondering what it would take to get into a 'Bird for as little money as possible just to get that feature. I'd mount the unit on the bow and tie it only to the TM. I don't use the 2D on the TM now.

Is follow the contour that good?

Do I have way more money than sense?
