    Default Quadra Beam

I have a HB1198 and want to run quadra beam transducer on it at high speed. Is there a y cable for this application? There is for dual beam. I have the quadra beam transducer from previous unit and don't want to purchase a duel beam if I don't have to. Thanks for any input on this.this,

You can use the AS SIDB Y cable the same as in any other shoot thru application...

The "Dual Beam" leg of the AS SIDB Y Cable only has 2 pins in the connector...(1 pin for the 2d channel and 1 pin for the Ground)...

None of the other pin channels in your Quadrabeam xducer cable connector will be connected ...so the unit will see your Quadrabeam xducer as a simple 83kHz/200kHz Dual Beam xducer...
