OK here we go. Iffen you were a crappie / panfisherman . And iffen your budget would allow for only one.

Would you pick the Terrova I-link TM ? The Humminbird 360 set-up.

I do troll and pull on occasion but also do a lot of still fishing; hence all the iffen. Wished I had the money for both but this looks like one this year and the other the next year kinda thing.

Whatever I buy its going to be hooked up to my 1198C.

Ifn you was a southern boy you'd know how to spell ifn!!!!

I love my Terrova but I troll 99% of the time, think I would have to go with the 360 ifn I was in your situation.

Man that's a hard question, if you mostly single pole I would go with the 360.

Ifn you do most of your fishing sitting and casting or single poling the 360 is only way to go. The I-link is more designed for trolling.

The Iffen is done. Fedex dropped off a 360 transom mount today. Got a new one on Ebay of all places for 1600. I think the guy won it in a tournament Not sure just a guess from what I could find out. Played around rough installing it and it is easier than sounds. But am having hard time trying to get eight inches of clearance from bottom of hull to bottom of sensor unit as required. The 18 degree cold kinda prevented any extra sharp thinking on my part.
