Well after mounting the spring bracket to help with the standing timber in my area I also noticed that it pushed the transducer back enough to help me clear the water intake valve as well. Heading out in the morning to see what I pull in and feel better about heading into the timber now.

How far below the bottom is the transducer. Might be the angle, but it looks too low to me. I wouldn't fool with it with the snapshots you've been posting. Keep them coming.
