Hello, all new to Crappie.com. We night fishing last night and caught a 14"er, however only 4 other keepers. I have been wanting to upgrade from the floating headlamp to improve or night trips. I'm interested in building my own floating light. In my research I found reel-lights,

I posted this in the main forum however not much activity, Im sorry to see Bob passed. Does anyone have an pics of his lights (up close). Im handy and am toying with building my own "bob light replica". Bob was from my town it appears, its a "shame he passed on. Thanks in advance.

His lights are just okay, he sent me one and at the time I liked it, but had an old tube green light that was a lot brighter so eventually I went back to my old tube light that hangs horizontally and you have to be careful with it plus it has a good bit more battery draw. I not long ago bought a new light that has what they say is the best and brightest LEDs in the world made in the USA by Cree. So I tried this new light and it blew any light I ever tried out of the water! Before I got it I tried a different one something like bob's light except this one had 960 LEDs an this new one with only 30 LEDs just blew that one away and was the first green light that blew my old tube light away too! I bought the 30 LED drop light.
