I got a text a couple of days ago from rnvinc, who happens to be my 1st cousin. He wanted me to try out his latest product from his workshop. I own both a 898 and 788DI Humminbirds but have been reluctant to put my unit cover on the 898 since I lost the cover to my 788C a couple of years ago while trailering back from KY Lake. Rickie wanted me to try this out.

To say that I'm happy with it would be an understatement. It fits great and keeps the cover out of my way until I need it as a sunshade or to cover the 898 while trailering.
