Try disconnecting the xducer cable and work it in and out of the socket to maybe overcome a bad xducer cable connection...

Went out Sunday it was working fine found the spot we were to fish anchored up. Started fishing about 45 min. later i looked down at the depth finder & it read 475 feet but we were only in 22 feet of water. I just shut it off for the rest of the day. Went out today and it would not read depth at all just temp. I disconnected the power wire & plugged it back in & same thing no depth. Any ideas. I have a new transom mount transducer that i may try to mount it to the trolling motor to see if it is problem. Thanks Jim C.

Thanks tried that even put a new xducer on just to see if it would click but i think it is dead.Don't want to spend a bunch on it to try to fix it may just bite the bullet for a new finder. Don't need anything fancy just something in color & have depth & temp.Would like to stay with GPS also. Thanks Jim C.
Look at the bird 587 all that plus di for about 400
Did a hard reset lost all my way-points but i think i am back to factory default ?? at least it does read some depth hope to try it out this week. Yes i did go look at depth finders but i came back more confused then before on what i want.Down imaging & HD is sure nice. Thanks Jim C.
Hey i guess i am good to go for a little while longer on that old lms332c. Took the boat out last evening & the hard reset worked. It is working great. But i still am going to look into maybe getting a new unit. Jim C.
