I have a HDS 5X and want to connect speed probe(paddle wheel). My transducer has the built in temp already but i am wanting to know the speed. My question is how do i connect the paddle wheel? Do you connect the transducer and paddle wheel together with a "T" , then connect to the unit. Do you have to buy a seperate cable to connect both? Also since my transducer already has the built in speed and the paddle wheel has both(speed and temp) would it mess up the transducers reading? Sorry i have no diagram for help and i have tried looking on youtube. Thanks for your help.
