Default An update on my 6.64 update issue.

As you know i had to send unit back after the failed loading. I requested that 6.49 be reloaded in unit because we had clear SI pictures, well it came back with 6.61 dammit. Called yesterday OK we will will email it, great, check email this morning and got 6.57 dammit. To make matters worse look at the picture, they didnt put the weather seal back in correctly! Can anyone tell me if this is something i can fix by taking the back of the unit off? Because i will be damned if i spend another $45 on shippimg for their screw up!!!!

P/P repair job. HB has let me down also. 6.610 sucks & 6.640 also sucks.

    My apologies HookItBait.
I’m not in the office today but have sent a message to Deborah to see if she has time to look into this for you.

Hookit that's sad, that's all I can say, I'm going back to 6.49 on my 1198 also, which will make my I-pilot link an 800 dollar I-pilot mistake and I most likely wont do anymore updates for a year or more or until I hear from a bunch of HB users that they have ALL the bugs worked out of their software.......... not sure if they do their own software programming or if it is done by a third party but these issues need to be worked out soon, I was going to get another 1198 but that has been put on hold as of 4-1-13

hope you get yours worked out sir

    Just me....

Attention to detail is frustrating but I am impressed that HB responded to the problem in an open forum and is asking to assist.

I'm tolerant of someone making a mistake. How it's handled is what will sway my future dollars.
