To the experts: Went fishing yesterday using Elite 7 HDI. Worked fine . Went today and DI didn't work. This is the same transducer that I spliced after putting a screw dead center at initial installation. It had been working fine or so I thought until today. The splice is not under water. After looking at the manual I can't find any thing cutting off DI. Question: DO I NEED A NEW TRANSDUCER!!!!!........ Thanks for any suggestions.....crappie1133

Go back to your splice and redo it. If you get a good splice no need for another ducer. Might also check for any other cuts or punctures while your at it. Did you solder your connections?
