    Default terrova footpedal

Has anyone had any problems with the new footpedal units ?

I was out last week fishin in the rain, so we went out today and the foot pedal works but none of the switchs will work, they light up but wont activate the motor, mom and com and ap switches all dont influncethe motor

the motor is always on the only way to shut it down is to unplug it or turn it down to zero on the speed control

motor works just fine when unplugged and running with the link remote

    thanks guys

tryy unplugging the foot control wire from the unit and drying the plug out, air compressor on low psi should dry it out, shake the foot pedal as well and see if any water comes out.

I just purchased one, for the cost I would expect it to be weather proof

i have replaced the foot pedal and remote out of my wallet for mine in about 3.5 years and I will have to say the MinnKota has been everything but helpful. I bought a Lowerance HDS 10 just to keep from dealing with them again.......Glad you got good service.

Short Grub.....I think both Lowrance and HB have gone through cycles of service over the years. Like your signature too...
