Look at the 500 series of Humminbird or elite series of Lowrance. Color with GPS and 2d sonar. DI will not work with ducer on your motor. Have to buy adapter cable to fit your unit that couples with the cord coming out of motor.

Looking to add a depth finder in the front of the boat
What recommended depth finder that will hook up to this
Preinstalled sonor unit will it plug in directly would like GPS

Well, most depth finders feature their own sonar. Of course there are cheap and decent depth finders. Humminbird 385ci and Lowrance elite-5x are both good.
The frequencies in the xducer inside the Terrova are 83kHz/200kHz...(2d only)
The unit you choose must have these frequency capabilities to work with the internal xducer in the Terrova...
And (as cray mentioned)...the xducer in the Terrova will not do any type of imaging (SI or DI)...
