Waypoint transfer

This is also on the side imaging thread. I have entered several waypoints on Google Earth. I have converted them to. Gpx files and copied to a sd card. I am having trouble getting them from Humminbird PC to my HB 898. HELP Please!

JTMavs,
After you converted them to the GPS file did you use HumminbirdPC to upload the data to the SD card? You have to use HumminbirdPC for this as it will actually convert the waypoints to a DATA.HWR file as this is what the unit uses.

Now depending on the software in your 898 unit you may have to power your unit on before you installed the SD card before it will load the new waypoints.
