    Default elite 5 DSI transducer?

Do I have to get a transducer specifically for the trolling motor, or can I use the transom mount transducer that it comes with?

You can use the one that comes with it.

Bill is correct ... the "torpedo" shaped transducer can be mounted under a TM with the transom mount bracket. However, using the transom bracket will make the transducer stick out from the trolling motor. I suggest purchasing the trolling motor bracket (sleeve) assembly. I have the Elite 5 DSI unit, mounted on the TM, with this product. It keeps the transducer close to the body of the TM !!
