    Default Minn-Kota Co-Pilot issues HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Have of late starting having trouble with my trolling motor responding to the key-fob. It started out with turning issues where when I would just jog the button for a small correction it now sometimes turn a full 90 degree or more. Now the speed button is doing the same and yesterday would not respond at all. Changed battery in key fob but that wasn't it. Can anyone point me in the rite direction. Thanks Tenncrappie

Mine will screw up if the signal is disturbed, like if someone is standing between me and the TM, but have never had the issues you describe.

First thing to do is check all the connections going to the TM. Thay must be clean and tight. If all good have the battery(s) load tested.

How old is the remote, could it be worn out. I've read where the remotes for the Ipilots don't last that long, could be a contact point(s) inside the remote.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

X2. Any problems I've had could usually be traced back to low power. Often at the plug for the trolling motor. Shine up those pins and sockets!
