Portable Color DI

Okay folks I need a little help. I have an old Humminbird PiranahMAX 160 PT and I want to upgrade to something similar that has color down imaging capabilities. I really like the way the 160 PT is set up with it's own power source and the suction cup transducer mount. I fish out of a canoe about half of the time and when I am not fishing out of my canoe I am fishing out of my aluminum boat and I just remove the transducer from the suction cup mount and install it on the transducer mount that I have installed on my trolling motor. I am just totally overwhelmed when it comes to all of the options out there for down imaging. I really like the Humminbird 571 HD DI Portable but it is not a color unit and the reviews I am finding on it are not all that great. So is there anything similar to the 571 that has a color display? I have looked around quite a bit and I have seen a video or two online of the Lowrance elite 5X DSI that looks portable but I can't seem to find it anywhere..... Can someone guide me in the right direction because I really want to upgrade to a DI unit soon, but it needs to be portable and I really want it to have a color display.

Rather than using a suction cup for mounting your transducer check out this clamp on transducer mount, I use one of this for switching unit between 2 boats- clamp on style holds great at speed to 34mph & takes only 2 minutes to install. jusst an idea for any transducer...............

Any of the 300, 500 or 700 series units can be made portable using the same case as the 571 HD DI Portable uses. For a small color display DI unit try looking at:

Thanks Greg, I think I am going to go with the 596c HD DI and see if it will fit in the case that I have for my PiranahMAX 160 PT. If not I will order one of the ones for the 571 HD DI.
