Humminbird 858c HD DI combo

Just bought a 858 HD DI combo for the boat! It beats the heck out of the old black and white humminbird that cam with the boat! Cant wait to get out there and find those big ole schools of slabs sitting on those drop offs soon! Now that im done with my excited rant who else has one? And if you have one how do you like it?

got a 898 si that i realllly like. just mounted 858c hd di in the front, have'nt got to use it yet but im sure it will be fine. cant wait

You will be surprised how quickly you get the hang of it. The main thing is play with it in simulator mode until you can get on the water and then play some more on the lake. Also read any posts you can find here about the HB SI units. The menu system and dialing your unit in will be similar to the SI units. Remember, all those buttons and menu items are there for a reason...use them all to see what works best for different water conditions.
