Lowrance Elite 7 and Minn Kota US2

Getting ready to pull the trigger on this one, but just wanted to make sure......

Is US2 compatible with the new Elite 7? It is not listed as a compatible ff on the lowrance compatibility chart, but it may just be so new the chart has not been updated. Any of you gewbers using MK US2 in conjunction with a Lowrance Elite 7?

Yep it will work but you give up the DI, dont buy an adaptor, I have a couple. you can borrow one and try it. Thought you already had you unit??

Yep, Have the unit. Was getting ready to buy TM. Wanted to figure out if I needed US2 on tm, or just use the ducer that came with the Elite 7 and get a TM w/o US2......

Aint gonna hurt to have it but think you are gonna want to use the Elite 7 ducer, hooked mine to it and went back to the Elite 7 ducer.

Am I correct in understanding that the DI feature will not work with the built in US-2 transducer on the I-Pilot??
