I have a HB727 with a wideside ducer. I'd like to upgrade to the lowrance Lowrance Elite 7x HDI.
I was wondering if anyone had tried the hdi ducer sideways to act like a si. I fish MS oxbows, I'm never on water over 10'
So without sidescan capability I'd be better of with the 727 rather than putting down $800 for a new FF.
What's your take on this?
