HD or DSi in Lowrance 4X

Looking at spending a bunch of basspro points to replace the old Lowrance X31 on my trolling motor. I've got an Eagle FishElite 480 on the back for GPS and grayscale sonar, but am looking at a color unit for the front.
My question is, which would you all choose? the HD that shows a bunch of variable color or the DSI that shows only one scale of colors, but higher definition (hopefully).
Does anyone have experience with the inexpensive DSI units?
I spend most of my time jigging or casting (zero trolling so far), so I'm wondering if that will make the DSI useless vs. a HD view.

I had a gray scale Mark 5 DSI before I swapped out to the Elite 5 DSI. I couldn't see the MARK 5 in the sun, and the resolution wasn't as clear as with the color pallets on the Elite 5 DSI. Huge difference between the two in my opinion.
