help installing new humminbird 798ci

I have a Pro Craft V180 Not sure where to put this, I have IPilot with US2 and hooked to it I have a Garmin 120.
On the dash Lawrence X85. I am getting new humminbird 798ci hdsi. Where should I put the tranducer, should i put it
in the back of the boat and put it where i can see when im drivng the boat and turn it when fish in front , not
sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. the garmin is old not very good,i could move the lawrence to trolling motor

don't know where to tell you to put it, but I can tell you to forget US2 as the SI won't work with it. However you can mount the 'ducer on the Trolling motor, that's where mine is going when I get a chance to move a few things around. Nice Days = work days Bad days = days off. Just my luck

I would say put ducer on transom that way you can mount on dash. Use the SI for scanning while behind the wheel. If you can turn it and see chart fine. Mount x85 to US2. If you can't see chart very well I would buy a second mount and switch to front for your chart.

I have a R70 Ranger ...I mounted my SI at the wheel and my intentions was to swivel where I could see it at the front (I never do). Many that mount SI on the TM don't like it.
