Default No Lake Master card for the Carolinas

What's the deal? Every state around us and no Carolinas. I am wanting the new Minn Kota Link and it requires the Lake Master card and I'm in central NC and out of luck. Makes no since to me. Anybody have any info?

Default No Lake Master card for the Carolinas

Same boat here in Okieland, at least the lakes I want. Called and asked them if they had a priority list, answer was no, just check the website! Not very good customer service in my opinion!

On their version 1 of Alabama, they did a poor job of the Tennessee River Lakes in North Alabama ( Guntersville, Wheeler, Pickwick ). Didn't bother to even survey most of the creeks, just stayed out in the main channel.

I hear they didn't survey these lakes on version 2 either.

Well that's not very incouraging for such a new product that totally is controlled by a chip that is not ready for the whole market. I just committed to a total refit of my electronics to Humminbird and Johnson outdoors. Guess I should of done more research......my bad!

Go to the “Request A Lake” page on the LakeMaster web site and enter the lake(s) you want them to survey. My guess is that their priority list would get skewed by what they get requests for.

Thanks. Any Idea when the Carolina card will be available? Great new inovative products. Why introduce them and not be ready to supply needs? Is Lake Master the only info that the new "link" will accept for the contour following feature?

Thanks for the info. I have sent in a few lake request.

Don't hold your breath. I gave them exact coordinates of where their competition was lacking ( Garmin and Navionics ) and still no surveys for my lakes. That was when they came out with version 1 for Alabama.
