TM Interference on Lowrance HDS5

I just changed out my cranking battery this weekend and all of the sudden I have interference on my sonar only when I hit the foot control switch on my TM. I put the wires all back on like they were. Any thoughts?

The first thing I would check is that the cables are tight. If you used wing-nuts, tighten them a little with an adjustable wrench. Also look around for a stray black wire that might have been connected to the negative battery post.

If you have a MK TM with a built in transducer, check the fuse in the head of the TM.
