    Default 788ci question.

Is there a way to reset it? I am selling it and I want to wipe it clean. I would really like to get rid of all the spots I marked with it. Thanks.

Performing a Format All Nav Data menu function will do this. Look in the Set-up menu tab for this menu.

If it does not have this menu (due to software versions) than you will have to use the “Delete All Nav Data” menu (under the Nav menu tab). Again, depending on the software version your 788ci unit has this could be under the Nav menu tab or in the waypoint management menus (Waypoints, Routes, Tracks menu – Options – Select All and… - Delete – Yes).

I forgot: do a Restore Defaults so that all the menu settings will go back to the original factory settings.
