    Default Humminbird Removable Head

Got a HB 346c di and the head snaps off real easy and I would like to take it off when in transit. The problem is those cable connection pins become exposed when the head is off. Is there a product that snaps on there to keep the crud, bugs, and rain out.

Mine is on a kayak and it sits on a truck rack pretty high up. I'm afraid I'll pass under a low branch somewhere and damage it.

Just bought a Mounting Cover made by HB off Ebay for $11.89 including shipping.

Are you looking for a product to cover the connector ends of the wires, or the connector sockets in the back of the unit head ???

That is nice. I used a zip lock bag and a pony tail cord on my old Humminbird stump. I ain't got no class.

Thought about stuff like that, but my kayak rides high on the truck and catches a lot of wind. Scratched my head and figured that something had to be invented for that.
