Default Project HDS route follower complete.....pics

Well, I have everything wired up and tested. All I need is good weather and water to test it out.

This is a fun project. Learned a lot about GPS data via NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000. I had to write a lot of software (code). Programming sucks.

This box allows me to choose what will control the MK V2 steering. Choices are: Ipilot, foot pedal, HDS8 (via gps decoder/processor/PIC controller).

This is what it kinda looks like, minus boat and trolling motor. ha.

I would be disqualified or impeached. I am honest.

Our house is over 60 years old. At one time, Brenda and I waxed the floors by hand before having it all refinished. Urethane is amazing.

Tom, I hope when you get it installed it doesn't go around in circles looking for Billbob.

Tom, its hard for me tell, those are plastic wire ties right, not lacing? I haven't seen lacing in 20 years except at the Space and Rocket Center's exhibits. A lost art.

They are tie wraps but I can lace. I probably have some old spools of waxed core/line/string around here somewhere. I might lace some cables one day, just to show folks what it looks like. I bet Barnacle Bill can lace wires too.

We used it in the Telephone Co Central Offices. I will try to find a spool.
