This is a copy of a post I made on another forum:

They have a new AGM with 195 minute RC and 930CCA in a group 27. with a 4 year warranty. Bad news is it costs $369.99, but with Cabela's history of having sales on their batteries it will be worth watching. It appears to be made by Northstar.

Also, their existing line of AGM batteries seems to have new specs. People have complained about them not living up to the published specs, and they have listed new, lower performance specs.

Group 22:
Was-670 CCA and 95 minute RC at 38.5lbs -- $135.99
Now-493 CCA and 90 minute RC at 38.5lbs -- $169.99

Group 24:
Was-945 CCA and 178 minute RC at 53.5lbs --$169.99 I believe the specs on this battery were completely wrong.
Now-545 CCA and 120 minute RC at 48lbs --$189.99

Group 27:
Was-950CCA and 180 minute RC at 62.5lbs --$189.99
Now-640 CCA and 150 minute RC at 56lbs -- $209.99

Group 30:
Was-1205CCA and 205 minute RC at 84lbs -- $220
Now-773CCA and 190 minute RC at 62.8lbs -- $239.99

My guess is that they have both made the batteries smaller and become more truthful in their specification claims. The 22 didn't lose any weight, but the performance dropped. The 24 lost 10% of its weight but a third of its RC.

Bottom line is that at full retail, all of these Advanced Angler AGM batteries are overpriced for the performance they give.
