    Default Terrova US2 transducer

So, how good is the Terrova US2 transducer? Less noise than one mounted on the outside? less sensitive?
If you have one tell me what you like and dislike about them. Thanks.

I just purchased a PD V2 (same thing)
Now I haven't used it a bunch and have it paired to Lowrance LMS332C. Really it works great and I believe as good as the stock Transducer.
It is all about settings on your graph.
Read the link Understanding your Lowrance down the page and I believe you will be happy with the V2.

The US2 works great but you can not use them if you have DI or SI unit. They can only be used with 2d units.

Thats not totally right Mike, you can use it but the SI and DI just wont work, the regular sonar did great with my 798.

I can't tell any difference between it and a skimmer transducer.
