    Default Lowrance dual frequency transducer??????

Is 50/200 Khz the only frequencies available in lowrance skimmers or TM mounts with temp sensor? I can't find a 83/200.

I been using the US2 but I am gonna install Ricky's Podunk stick and need a new transducer.

The Mark 5 pro (dual beam) DF has 83/200
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Crystals determine the frequency, the HDS only transmits/receives the frequency of the crystals internal to the transducer. I am skeptical of this.

My HDS8 came with a 83/200, one had a choice of either 50/200 or 83/200

    I can't find the 83/200??????

The only select on the hds is generic for the 83/200. 50/200 has a transducer number selection

all lowrance transducer s with dual frequency have DF as part of that transducer????

I can make the humminbird 83/200 work with my hds if I have to. I believe HB is good for 500 watts. Hope to just plug and play. ha

canepole, I have a HDS 7. The hst-wsbl is the transducer that is 83/200. The hst-dfsbl is the 50/200. both have blue connectors and both show water temperature. I think the 50/200 is mostly for deep and salt water. The 83/200 is for shallower water. This is on the Lowrance web site under transducers, page 2. Hope this helps, you have helped me many times and I thank you
