You have to be moving slowly over a brush pile to see the above image. If it is too shallow, you will get a lot of noise. If it is too deep, you will not see much at all. I never saw much over 50' deep. If it is less than 10 I always got a lot of noise even on the higher frequency. You need to keep your contrast down around 65%. Experiment with the white background, that may help you refine the contrast setting. There is not much else you can set. There is no sensitivity or other settings to play with. You should use the lower frequency for deeper water and the higher for shallow. You can split the display and see both.
