    Default SS DI on TM

how many of you use side scan and down image mounted on your trolling motor

the reason I ask is because I'm going to buy a 800 or 900 HB locator but want to use it up on the TM and at the helm and just move it as I need to, I know I willl need a second set of transducers and I know its a pain to switch back and forth but money is real tight so I cant get two of them

down the road I will add a second unit........... maybe a 798 to the helm ? anyone have any comments about the bigger of the two being up on the bow and a 700 at the helm I know it sounds kindof backwards but most of my time is at the TM

also would it be best to mount the gps recevier on the bow?

thank you all for your time

Switching units front to back isnt too bad. just get you a quick disconnect mount. On a bird the cables just plug in,leave the collecter off. as for the puck I would mount it on the unit, itself.

Unit at console = 2ft away from eyes...
Unit at bow = 4-6ft away from eyes..

Your eyes will appreciate the bigger screen at the bow...

(GPS antenna at each Xducer location to make the best accuracy in marking waypoints...)

I have 798's in both places and love it that way. But bigger is better if you can afford it. Your eyes will appreciate it.
