I have an 898c si on the console. When I press "mark" to mark a waypoint it creates the waypoint but also says "failed to create PNG", meaning it did not save a picture of the screenshot. The sd chip is in and seated and not locked. If anyone can tell me what I must have done wrong I would appreciate it. Thanks for any responses.

On my 798, I have to go to the accessory menu and select the snapshot option.

Same on 1198 you have to activate it. Maybe hbgreg will chime in, he knows way more than me.

Guys, I don’t think that Kenny would be seeing that message unless he already set the Screen Snapshot menu to the “On” setting.

Have you tried using another SD memory card Kenny?
Possibly fully formatting the one you are using may help. What brand and capacity memory card are you using?
