    Are the grha 50 receivers worth the extra money?

    Here is the HB test plotted differences in the AS GR16 vs the AS GR50..



    Here is the 24 Plotted Positions of fixed mounted receiver, Notice how much better accuracy the GR-50 is over the previous receivers, This is the 95% Garmin Test that shows the new receivers 95% of the within 2.5 Meters of reporting the same exact location. Civilian satellite has improved but hardware and restrictions to hardware still exists. The better you are with marking the initial location the easier it will be to return, time after time.

    The one I am considering is the GRHA 50. I believe they quit making them due to slow sales. Just trying to get more info before I pull the trigger. They are hard to come by and pricey.

    If you find a AS GRHA ... You better buy it....

    I thought I bought the last one ever for sale in the northern hemisphere in March 2010...
