    Question Humminbird Ethernet Question

Say you have 2 units connected via Ethernet cable. You decide to relocate 1 unit, but the Ethernet cable is too short by about 2 feet. Is there a way to add the Humminbird 2' extension cable to the 1 you already have?

Pretty sure you can get a little inline adapter that you just plug each cord into

There is one extension cable available for the ethernet accessory, the part number is AS EC30E , its 30 feet.

Might not be the most economical alternative but you could add a hub and then an extension cable and then you would have more ports to add accessorys in future.

I think that it would just be cheaper and easier to buy the next size up Ether Connection cable. Example: if he is using the AS-EC10E (10-foot cable); buy and install the AS-EC15E (15-foot cable) in its place.
