Default Navionics sd chip and Hummingbird 597 ci HD Ci plotter

Recently purchased a new Navioncis Gold chip and downloaded the newest maps from the
Navionics site. Put the chip in my HB last weekend but I can't see the detailed maps. What do I need to do to see the maps on the chips vs the factory maps that came on the unit?

    Try this..

Hit "Menu" twice to get into the main menu system...
Tab over to the "Chart" tab...
    Cursor down to "Chart Select"...
Cursor left or right to "Auto"...
Cursor back up to the main tabs....
    Tab over to "Views"...
Cursor down to any and all chart views and set them to "Visable"...
Exit out of the Menu system..
Hit "View" on the unit face to scroll forward thru the available visable views...
Hit "Exit" on the unit face to scroll backward thru the available visable views...

Be sure that you are viewing an area that is covered by the mapping card.
Try turning on your unit first and then installing the map card. You should see a “Loading…” message in the upper right corner of the Chart View on the unit if the unit has recognized and loaded the map data.

If none of this helps; try re-downloading the map card update. I have read where others have had issues with their Navionics map cards after loading the updates and got them to work after reloading the update.

You can also try testing your map card in another Humminbird unit to see if the problem is in the map card or your unit.

Make sure you turn Spot Soundings to Visible and Chart Detail level to all.
