Default Navionics card from 998 to 788

Tried moving my Navionics card from my 998 at the console to my 788 at the bow and maps would not load.

What am I doing wrong? Thought all you had to do was plug it in to the card slot and power it up???

Does it matter which card slot you use?

Which Navionics card was in your 998 unit Fancy Seats? If this was a Platinum card, than no it will not work in the 788 unit.

Which model 788 unit do you have and is it running the latest software in it?

You will need to use a Navionics Premium map card in that 788ci HD DI unit Fancy Seats. That 788ci HD DI does not have the processing power needed to use the Platinum map cards.
