GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
I had a weird situation, my remote wouldn't come on. Less than 6 hrs on the unit. Replaced the battery 3 times and gave up. The next day my cousin tried it and it worked like a champ? Never did figure it out and have never had another problem with it! You don't have much to loose by changing the battery, and that will answer at least 1 questions for you.
Not all i-Pilot batteries are the same! You may have the problem discussed here. If so, the fix is simple.
THANKS Guys,Hey the new battery fixed my problem,I guess I seem lazy but ive been working since last thursday and wanted it running again asap ,with me working 12 shifts its kinda hard doing other things...

That's not lazy that's smart in my book. Resourcing a larger knowledge base gets you to the solution faster, usually!

Glad you found the fix.Thumbs Up I've had I-pilots since they came out and have never had to change a remote battery yet. I generally fish 1 to 2 days a week exept during the "hot bite" seasons where I'll fish more. I do cut off the remote anytime the tm is not deployed though.
How do you turn it off mine is a pd 55 ipilot and i dont see a off botton I just thought it turns off by itself![]()
