I watched a frustratingly poorly presented vid from YouTube tonite on this subject.
He had good stuff, good photos, and he knew his stuff.
But to his audience, he never pointed out what he was talking about. I couldn't see what he was trying to get me to see.
I didn't get very much out of the show.
His process was:
He dribbled a small jig 30 Ft ~ under his FF. Raising and lowering it, while changing the Sensitivity until the little Jig began to show on his FF as an Arc with a little red Dot where the Head bone of the Jig was.
Later he went to Real fish. On his FF and the same thing happened. A little Red dot at the Head of the fish.
He had Side Scan which was really confusing as he never addressed what his audience saw on the screen. I was lost!
How many of you guys have done this? And did it work for you?
I don't have Color. Mine's a Hummingbird I think. I have three of them on two Boats and cannot remember all of them.
But they all have a Sensitivity setting. Normally, I just put them on Auto and live with what I get.
I'd sure like to hear from the Experts on this forum about this process.![]()
